Refunds Policy

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered in the following circumstances:

  • You received a damaged or incorrect order and reported it within 2 hours of delivery.
  • Your order was not delivered and could not be fulfilled.
  • A duplicate payment was made in error.

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind cancellations on orders that have already been prepared or dispatched.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email enquiries@bakersdelights.co.za with your order number and reason for the request.
  2. Attach photographic evidence where applicable (damaged items, incorrect items).
  3. For EFT payments, provide your bank account details for the transfer.

Refund requests are reviewed within 1–2 business days.

3. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method:

  • EFT / Bank Transfer: 2–5 business days after approval.
  • Card Payments (Yoco): 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

4. Partial Refunds

If only part of your order was affected (e.g., one item damaged in a larger order), we will issue a partial refund for the affected items only, plus a proportional share of the delivery fee where applicable.

5. Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it enters the preparation stage. Contact us by phone at 010 006 7521 as soon as possible. Once an order has been confirmed and preparation has begun, cancellations cannot be processed and refunds will not be issued.
